In this section the author, Peter Paddon, explores the nature of the Gods and Goddesses of Ancient Egypt, wit ha focus on personal interaction with the deities. He includes practical meditations and inspirational poems for each of the deities covered - not an exhaustive list, but rather a carefully considered cross-section of deities that can be worked with individually or as a group.

Section 2: The Magick of Ancient Egypt
(originally published as "Through the Veil" in 1997 by Capall Bann. Revised and updated for this volume)

This section covers practical magickal training based on the zero degree training of the Sacred Hermetic Order of Asar-Ra. Significantly updated, with additional material, it provides a good grounding in basic magickal technique.

Section 3: The Rites of Ancient Egypt
(Completely new material)

This section includes a large number of rites, including a complete set of initiation rites based on those used by SHOAR, along wit hother rituals to celebrate and explore the Mysteries to be found in the tales of the various deities of Khem. In addition, there are practical workings for healing, divination, and other practical concerns.
